On Friday, April 27, 2012, loyal supporters and friends of the Little Sisters of the Poor will once again take to the fairways of the Presidio Golf Club in San Francisco to raise funds for St. Anne’s Home. We invite you to come out and play at the 3rd Annual Swing and a Prayer Golf Tournament benefitting St. Anne’s Home and the Little Sisters of the Poor, who have been providing care for the elderly in the Bay Area for over 110 years.
John Abendroth, former PGA Player and co-host of the popular KNBR radio show “Hooked On Golf” will again serve as our Honorary Host and dinner Emcee.
Co-Chairs Dan Burke, whose grandfather, Ed Milani, started the golf tournament in the 1970’s, Pete Crudo and Bill Terheyden promise you a fun filled day of golf, and camaraderie.
Registration and lunch will be from 11am to noon. Shotgun start will be at 1:00pm.
After golf reception, dinner and awards will take place in the Presidio Golf Club.
This tournament has now become a favorite annual “fun” raising event while raising much needed funds for St. Anne’s Home. Last year’s tournament brought in over $40,000. All proceeds from the golf tournament benefit the St. Anne’s Home and the Little Sisters of the Poor.
Share the news of this fun event with family and friends. Get your foursome together or join one that day, either way we look forward to having you join us.
