In its third decade of non-stop operation, our special Home has been in need of tender loving care. With appreciation for our hardworking fundraisers and deepest gratitude for our loyal benefactors, we have been able to replace gates sick with corrosion from the elements, upgrade security systems, and install drainage ditches to prevent water damage to our structure, begun the installation of new resident bathing systems. These bathing units will provide therapeutic benefits to ease arthritic aches and pains and help maintain mobility in our resident community. We have also been blessed with volunteers who have generously and tirelessly worked to help us save some of our drought stricken grounds by recycling existing landscaping and introducing sustainable plants to create sheltered, water conserving “green spaces” for our residents to enjoy. We are thankful for the Divine Providence that always sees us through and for the kindness of heart and generosity of spirit in our community, without whom none of this would be possible.
