Our sixth annual Swing and a Prayer Golf Tournament had a full roster of players, who enjoyed a fun filled day on the greens. John Abendroth served as Master of Ceremonies for our evening’s festivities, with the Catholic Service Award posthumously presented to Edward Milani, the original founder of the Little Sisters’ golf tournament in the 1970’s.
This year, the day was highlighted with the exciting addition of the “Hole-in-One” prize of an E-Class Mercedes-Benz E-400 generously donated by Robert Hammer of HammerAuto. We did not have a lucky winner, but one of our players came very close. There is always next year, so golfers stay tuned and plan on joining us for our seventh annual Swing and a Prayer!
To date, our annual golf tournament has raised more than $250,000 for St. Anne’s Home and allowed us to fund many life essentials for our residents.
