An evening of Fine Art and Festivities was held at St. Anne’s Home on March 14, the first of its kind for our Home. Our Auxiliary partnered with the Trustee of the Brown and Campbell Collection to present Celebrate HeART, and it was a success on every level. The evening featured artwork from the Brown & Campbell Collection, as well as other notable Bay Area talent, including Senator Diane Feinstein. There was something for everyone – ranging from original jewelry and tote bags to a six-foot diptych by Susan Schneider Williams, created specifically in honor of and inspired by the work of the Little Sisters of the Poor. Our guests all clearly shared the sentiment expressed by our events’ Honorary Chair, Diane B. Wilsey, “Just as art is timeless and fills the heart with joy, so too does the work of the Little Sisters.” Thanks to the generosity of all who supported this event, $100,000 was raised to help support the installation of a much needed new nurse call system for the Home.
